While I was in New Orleans for Mardi Gras I missed Lydia's 6th birthday party. I promised her a day out alone with Aunt Erin to make up for it. Today I made good on that and took her to the Zoo.
I think it was a pretty good birthday gift :)
Also, when did this happen? And how can I stop it?

OMG! She's so big. And old! How does this happen. Little C turns 4 in May. When she told me that at Christmas, I said "No. Aunt Claire doesn't allow that." And she basically told me "too bad. It's happening." I swear she was just a baby yesterday!
Glad you had a fun day. I'm missing C's birthday again this year for school. Maybe I'll see if she & I can go to the zoo when I visit later that month. :-)
