Drive...
I just want to get into the car and drive.
I get these moods once in a while.
Just get in, turn on some music, and drive.
I used to love driving when I lived in New Jersey.
EVERYWHERE was new to me. Every turn, every exit, every road.
And since I lived near 2 major highways,1 expressway,one parkway and one major gambling city I could always find my way home.
No matter how far I went(and I racked up a lot of miles on my Geo)
It's not the same here. I know these roads, these exits.
These towns and faces are old.
Nothing is suprising anymore.
I really need to get out and drive somewhere new.
I wish there was something new.

An Apple a day...
On sunday I took Elise and Lydia to the Delmont Apples and Arts Festival.
We gorged ourselves on Apple Dumplings and fresh pressed cider.
We picked apples, which the girls love eating.
We looks at the cutsey crafts, the girls got Fairy Princess Halo's and we got to feed a cow and some pigs and goats.
We also rode ponies for the first time ever.
They were magically well behaved as well.
Elise told me she did not want her stroller, she wanted to "walk like a big girl"
She never once asked to be carried, she never complained and she never let go of my hand while we were walking. I was so proud of her.

Happy Birthday N'at!!!
The Burgh is all a tizzy with the whole Pittsburgh 250 celebration to commemorate the 250th birthday of my beautiful city.
I love Pittsburgh, most people who know me know this.
I bitch about it here: the weather, the politics, the asshattery of the PLCB,the failitude of the Pirates,the never ending construction.
But honestly...I.Love.My.Hometown.
So, Happy Birthday Pittsburgh!
Here's to 250 more.
Maybe by then the Pirates will have won another World Series...*snickersnort*

In November 1758, British General John Forbes, Colonel George Washington and their British and Colonial troops assumed possession the French Fort Duquesne at the confluence of the Allegheny, Monongahela and Ohio rivers. There constructed Fort Pitt, named after England’s Sir William Pitt.

Thank You!

She raised some money for the Flight 93 memorial and had a pretty amazing amount of people click onto her site.
In other news, just watched the VP debates.
Not gonna talk about my personal likes and dislikes when it comes to the candidates, but I think they both did fairly well.
Palin wasnt as deer in the headlights as she was in the Couric interview and Biden didnt fall into the Al Gore *sigh* *humph* *harrumph* *groan* trap.
The whole Marge Gunderson thing...wearing thin tho.
